Terms of Service
Voice Writer | Effective date: April 7, 2026
Service overview: Voice Writer is an offline voice note app with encrypted local storage. No account is required. Some advanced features require a premium subscription or one-time lifetime purchase. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Voice Writer mobile application ("App") developed by WELLPEACH ("Developer", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Definitions
- "App" means the Voice Writer application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- "User" means any individual who downloads or uses the App.
- "Content" means all notes, text, checklists, and any other data created by users within the App.
- "Premium" means the paid subscription or lifetime purchase plan that unlocks advanced features and removes advertising.
- "Free Tier" means the basic, no-cost version of the App with limited folders and notes, supported by advertising.
3. License to Use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal device solely for your own private note-taking purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not include the right to:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Create derivative works based on the App
- Remove copyright or trademark notices
4. Free Tier & Advertising
- The free tier of the App is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob.
- Ads are displayed periodically during use (e.g., after opening notes).
- On iOS, you will be asked for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent before personalized ads are shown. You may decline without losing access to the App.
- Free tier users are subject to folder and notes-per-folder limits, which are displayed within the App.
5. Premium Subscription & Lifetime Purchase
Auto-renewal notice: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Plans available: Monthly subscription, yearly subscription, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.
- "Lifetime" defined: A "lifetime" purchase grants premium access for as long as the App remains available and operational. It does not guarantee that the App will exist indefinitely, nor does it constitute a perpetual service contract. We make no warranty that the App will be available for any specific duration. "Lifetime" refers to the operating lifetime of the App — that is, for as long as the App is offered and supported by the Developer (see Section 10) — not the lifetime of the user or the device.

- Payment: All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) via in-app purchase. We do not handle payment data directly.
- VAT included: The price displayed at the point of purchase is the final amount you pay and includes VAT (value-added tax) where applicable, including in the Republic of Korea. Local tax rules of your country may apply.
부가세 포함: 구매 시점에 표시되는 가격은 부가가치세(VAT)가 포함된 최종 결제 금액입니다(대한민국 포함, 국가에 따라 현지 세금 규정이 적용될 수 있습니다).
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The renewal charge is confirmed 24 hours before the period ends.
- How to cancel:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Voice Writer > Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play > Menu > Subscriptions > Voice Writer > Cancel
- Cancellation effect: Cancelling your subscription does not remove access immediately — you retain premium access until the end of the paid period.
- Lifetime purchase: A one-time payment that provides permanent premium access on the purchasing device. Not transferable between accounts.
- Restore purchases: Use the "Restore Purchases" button in the App's subscription screen to restore any prior purchase on a new device or after reinstalling.
- Scope of purchase: Your purchase entitles you only to the features or content described at the time of purchase. We may offer additional, separate paid features or products in the future; these are not included in your earlier purchase, and offering them is not a reason for a refund. If we do, they will be described at the point of purchase, and they will not create any obligation or right to compensation for existing users.
향후 별도의 유료 기능·상품을 제공할 수 있으며, 이는 기존 구매에 포함되지 않고 구매 시점에 별도로 안내됩니다. 이러한 상품 제공은 기존 이용자에 대한 어떠한 보상 의무나 권리도 발생시키지 않습니다.
6. Refunds & Right of Withdrawal (환불 및 청약철회)
- Right of withdrawal (청약철회): You may request withdrawal (purchase cancellation) within 7 days of purchase in accordance with applicable law, including the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Because premium features are delivered and applied immediately upon purchase, withdrawal may be limited for the portion already provided, to the extent permitted by applicable law; even then, a refund may still be available under the store's own refund policy.
청약철회: 구매일로부터 7일 이내에는 관련 법령(전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률 등)에 따라 청약철회를 요청할 수 있습니다. 다만 구매 즉시 프리미엄 기능이 제공·적용되는 디지털 콘텐츠의 특성상, 이미 제공이 완료된 부분에 대해서는 관련 법령이 허용하는 범위 내에서 청약철회가 제한될 수 있으며, 이 경우에도 각 스토어의 환불 정책에 따른 환불은 가능할 수 있습니다.
- Cancel a subscription anytime (구독 해지): You can stop future subscription charges at any time in App Store or Google Play > Subscriptions. Cancellation stops renewal; you keep premium access until the end of the paid period.
구독 해지는 App Store 또는 Google Play 설정 > 구독에서 언제든지 가능합니다. 해지 시 다음 결제가 중단되며, 이미 결제한 기간이 끝날 때까지 프리미엄 이용이 유지됩니다.
- All purchases are subject to the refund policies of Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).
- How to request a withdrawal or refund (청약철회·환불 방법):
- iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com — sign in, choose the purchase, and select "Request a refund".
- Android: Google Play > profile > Payments & subscriptions > Budget & order history > select the order > "Request a refund".
- Developer: email wellpeachmarket@gmail.com and we will guide you through the process.
- Because in-app payments are collected by the store operator (Apple/Google), whether, when, and how a refund is issued follows each store's refund policy and procedures, and refunds are made to the original payment method. We do not directly issue refunds for purchases processed through these platforms.
인앱 결제 대금은 스토어 운영자(Apple/Google)가 수납하므로, 환불 여부·시기·방식은 각 스토어의 환불 정책 및 절차에 따르며, 환불은 원 결제 수단으로 이루어집니다.
- Nothing in this Section limits any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
본 조항은 관련 법령상 소비자에게 보장되는 강행규정상의 권리를 제한하지 않습니다.
- If the App is unavailable due to our error, we will extend your subscription period by the equivalent duration or provide comparable compensation.
7. User Content
- All notes and content you create in the App are stored locally on your device. We do not access, read, or process your note content.
- You are solely responsible for the content you create and store. Do not use the App to store content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not liable for data loss resulting from device failure, App deletion, or other causes.
8. Intellectual Property
- The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by WELLPEACH and protected by copyright law.
- The name "Voice Writer" and associated icons are trademarks of WELLPEACH.
- User-created note content belongs entirely to the user. We claim no rights over any content you create in the App.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
- Circumvent or tamper with subscription verification or licensing mechanisms
- Share premium account access with others (premium is per-device/per-account)
- Use automated tools to interact with the App
10. Service Changes & Termination
- We may modify, add, remove, or discontinue features, content, or the App itself at any time, and we are not liable to you for doing so, except as provided in this Section or required by mandatory applicable law.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App — including removing it from app stores — at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
- Notwithstanding the above, if we permanently discontinue the App entirely, we will give at least 30 days' advance notice via an in-app notice or this website. Purchasers of lifetime premium will have received the benefit for the period the App was available; upon permanent discontinuation, the benefit is deemed fully provided for that period, and no additional compensation is owed except as required by mandatory applicable law.
앱 제공을 영구적으로 종료하는 경우, 앱 내 공지 또는 본 웹사이트를 통해 최소 30일 전에 사전 고지합니다. 평생 이용권 구매자의 경우 앱이 제공된 기간 동안 혜택이 제공된 것으로 보며, 종료 시 강행법규가 요구하는 경우를 제외하고 추가 보상 의무는 발생하지 않습니다.
- If the App is removed from the App Store or Google Play, existing installs on your device will continue to function, but updates will no longer be available. We are not obligated to maintain the App in any store indefinitely.
- All purchases (subscriptions and lifetime) are processed by Apple or Google. Refund eligibility upon discontinuation is governed solely by the refund policies of those platforms. We do not directly issue refunds. Users who wish to request a refund must contact Apple or Google directly.
- We may update the App (including features, pricing, and limits) without prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notices or this page.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WELLPEACH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration or a court of competent jurisdiction.
